~Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group Adds Hospice Care to Services~
Albuquerque, NM - April 1, 2019 - Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group has completed the acquisition of Del Corazon Hospice located in
Santa Fe, NM. Del Corazon has been operating successfully in northern New Mexico for over eight years, providing services to the needs of
patients and their families in rural areas. The purchase strengthens the wide range of services Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group already affords
to seniors, and is a positive step in the continued growth of the organization as it seeks to further its mission of serving more seniors.
Established in Santa Fe, and continuously directed by Executive Director, David Rodriguez, he utilized his years of health care experience to found
and operate a hospice program on behalf of a group of investors based in Texas. Rodriguez will remain the Executive Director, along with his experienced staff.
Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group (HCLG), a New Mexico not-for-profit 501(c)(3) based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, completed the acquisition of
Del Corazon Hospice as of April 1, 2019. HCLG will be able, in the foreseeable future, to extend hospice care to residents of the organization's
Life Plan communities at both their Albuquerque and Rio Rancho locations, and the local community. HCLG's philosophy of care aligns with
Del Corazon Hospice - to provide the compassionate end of life care that is the hallmark of hospice. Life Plan communities are designed to offer more
than one level of care on a single campus, ranging from seniors who are looking for an active lifestyle while providing a plan for long-term care.
HCLG is the faith-based parent company of La Vida Llena Life Plan Community in Northeast Albuquerque, The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho Life Plan Community,
Ralston Creek Neighborhood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Arvada, Colorado, and Sommerset Neighborhood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

~The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho Life Plan Community Opens~
Rio Rancho, NM - April 18, 2016 - Planning for building The Neighborhood began in mid 2012, and is now Rio Rancho's only Life Plan Community.
La Vida Llena was the first, and only such community in the area until The Neighborhood opened to its first residents in April of 2016.
The Neighborhood is designed to offer more than one level of care on a single campus. Active, independent living for those who want a sense of
community and connection with neighbors in a maintenance-free lifestyle; and Supportive Care - for those who need assistance with activities of
daily living. Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group (HCLG) is proud to bring the active lifestyle and quality care a Life Plan community provides to
the city of Rio Rancho. HCLG, the company has maintained the ideals of the mission of La Vida Llena's founders by expanding beyond existing
boundaries and preserving assets with the opening of The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho, the newest affiliate of HCLG.
~An Award Winning Community~
Since opening, The Neighborhood has won two awards. First, the annual NAIOP New Mexico Awards of Excellence recognized the community with the
Eagle Award in the multifamily category. More than 60 projects were entered into the competition in 2016. The award was given based on a design
that equalized The Neighborhood as a project with functional and aesthetic goals, while also meeting financial requirements.
Second, Albuquerque Business First acknowledged the community at the "Deals of the Year" awards in the construction category. The weekly
publication's news staff spent months reducing the list to 52 winners based on the size of the deal and the potential benefits to New Mexico.
Winners were also judged on if they were significant business news stories from August 2015 to August 2016. The main determining factors for
each deal considered was size of the deal and its potential benefits to New Mexico.

Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group Expands its Mission to Oklahoma
Albuquerque, NM - August 13, 2015- Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group (HCLG), a mission driven, faith based
New Mexico not-for-profit 501(c) (3) has purchased Sommerset Assisted Living and Memory Care Center located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Formerly a family owned, for-profit community, the name will be changed to Sommerset Neighborhood and become a not-for-profit affiliate of HCLG.
HCLG is an integrated retirement lifestyle provider currently operating one LifeCare Community, La Vida Llena in Albuquerque and has another under
construction, The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Its new acquisition, Sommerset Neighborhood, was built in three phases between 1998 and 2005 with a total of 124 studio and one bedroom apartments
providing Assisted Living, Memory Care and Progressive Care. HCLG will bring its 30+ years experience operating La Vida Llena, Albuquerque's only
LifeCare Community, and has a history of excellent care in its nursing home, assisted living and memory care. La Vida Llena consistently holds a 5
star rating, the highest rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a federal agency within the United States Department of Health
and Human Services that administers the Medicare program.
"This acquisition is in perfect alignment with Haverland Carter's not-for-profit mission of offering senior housing and health care options. The experienced
leadership of HCLG will benefit the residents and employees of Sommerset," stated E. DeAnn Eaton, the CEO of HCLG.
"There will be no dramatic first day changes in employment or provision of services to the residents," stated Ms. Eaton. "Our plan is to gradually adapt
Sommerset to the HCLG branding best recognized by being named One of the Top 10 Best Places to Work Large Employers in New Mexico in 2014 by The Albuquerque
Business First and as "Albuquerque"s Best Senior Living Community" in 2015 in a survey of readers of The Albuquerque Journal.
"It is within our strategic plan to grow business either by building new or through acquisition. Our strategic plan," continues Ms. Eaton, "is to seek new
opportunities to provide care and services beyond our existing boundaries. Certainly going into Oklahoma has us expanding our geographic presence, but also
has us diversifying by adding a freestanding Assisted Living community to our LifeCare Communities."
"HCLG current affiliates, La Vida Llena and The Neighborhood in Rio Ranch, will not be affected by this acquisition." Explained the CEO.
Connie Bailey, JD and Ida Dunn, the previous owners, were dedicated to the residents and the staff of Sommerset and wanted the best possible outcome as they
decided to retire from being the owner/operators of Sommerset. "We were impressed with HCLG as a mission driven, not-for-profit organization and felt they would
assure the best care for the residents and preserve continued employment for the staff," stated Connie Bailey, "We are leaving Sommerset in good hands."

La Vida Llena Renovation
Completed!
Updated and refurbished swimming pool - new locker/shower rooms also added!
Residents and employees of La Vida Llena Retirement Community are enjoying "The Full Life" more now than ever before during its 31 year existence. A major renovation of the entrance area of La Vida Llena was completed well ahead of schedule. The remodel was originally scheduled for completion within 15 months. Construction began the first week of February of 2013 and was completed this past January 2014.
The nearly $7 million remodel to several areas of the central part of campus expanded and upgraded several key areas; the largest dining room and a separate Corner Cafe which now has a new small dining area of its own, a relocated new chapel and marketplace, upgrades to the front entrance, lobby, hospitality center, a library, indoor pool, several administrative offices and a new marketing conference center.
Carter Hall, our main community room that hosts entertainment and presentations, now boasts state of the art audio-visual equipment along with a full-scale stage setup with a stunning stage lighting system; surround-sound and movie-sized projector, large retracting screen and multiple wired and wireless microphones.
Unlike other retirement facilities that only provide housing, residents at La Vida Llena have always enjoyed an active retirement lifestyle with the peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for the rest of their lives.
This renovation places La Vida Llena as exceeding other senior-living facilities throughout central New Mexico. Several in-house celebrations will commemorate the dust and dirt residents and employees lived and worked around for almost a year.
