Reg Rider, Brigadier General
United States Air Force (Retired)
Regner (Reg) Rider was born and raised in Oklahoma and Kansas. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Masters in Mechanical
Engineering in 1973 and was commissioned in the United States Air Force through AFROTC. He served in numerous locations both in the U.S. and
abroad as a B-52 crewmember, staff officer and commander. In the fall of 2000, he retired from the military with 27 years of service as a Brigadier
General. He worked in the Washington D.C. area the next nine years, moving back to Albuquerque in 2006.
He currently volunteers with numerous organizations to include: Rotary Club of Albuquerque President, Military Officers Association of America Board
member and Ski Club President, Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group Board member, and Popejoy Performing Arts Center Board member.
Reg and Bev have a daughter, Cindy, an International Development professional and professional editor, her husband Brian and granddaughters
Corinne and Maia, in Seattle.
Edward A. Licon, MBA

Edward A. Licon is a Vice President, Bank Manager with Bank of The West, bringing with him 18 years of experience
in the business banking industry and Enterprise Consulting specializing in all facets of the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Licon's breadth of experience ranges from asset allocation strategies; spend analysis, financial analysis, cost analysis,
forecasting models and business strategy related areas such as corporate strategy, market strategy, and enterprise change development.
Edward's resume includes working with several Fortune 500 companies in the development of regional marketing strategies and the
creation of financial products which address the specific needs of the targeted base. His previous developmental experience includes
tenures as an Officer with Wells Fargo Bank, Citi-Group, Fidelity, State Farm Insurance Companies and Ford Motor Credit Company.
During his development with these organizations he completed numerous senior level training programs in Finance, Accounting, Business
Change Management, Cross Functional Teams, Organizational Development and Human Resources. Additional education includes undergraduate
and graduate studies in accounting / finance and economics. He holds an MBA, B.S. in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics, The University of Texas.
Marie Trigg, RN, BSN, MBA
Marie established a long, successful history in healthcare, both clinical and administration. Starting as an RN, she earned her Bachelors in Nursing,
and a Masters in Business with emphasis on healthcare. She received her BSN from West Texas State University, now known as Texas A&M, and her MBA from
Wayland Baptist University.
She has held many administrative positions in acute care as well as in long term care. Marie also founded and operated her own home health agency, which
served several counties in West Texas. In addition, she spent several years working with the American Red Cross as a teacher in the clinical area,
in course development, and working with students teaching them English as a second language.
Marie was born and raised in New Mexico and has also lived in several other states. Along with being an active volunteer with Global Ties, Marie also
serves as a board member for Albuquerque Sister Cities, and is part of the Development Committee for St. Martin's Hope Works.
Walt Arnold, CCIM, SIOR
Managing Director - SVN / Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc.
Walt Arnold, CCIM, SIOR, serves as Managing Director for SVN/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM. He specializes in sales and leasing
of office and industrial buildings and has a 27 year career in real estate. Prior to affiliating with SVN, Walt founded Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc.
in 1990 and served as president.
As an active commercial real estate community member, he is a member and past president of the New Mexico CCIM Charter, a member of the SIOR, and member
and past president of the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico (CARNM). Walt also had an eight year career in the National Football League
playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Houston Oilers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 1998 Walt was named "Realtor of the Year" by CARNM. Additionally, he was named to the University of New Mexico Football 100-Year All Time Team and was
inducted in the University of New Mexico's Hall of Honor and the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame in 1996. Arnold earned a bachelor's degree
in University Studies from the University of New Mexico.
Shelly L. Fritz, DDS, FACD
Shelly Fritz was a hygienist for sixteen years before entering the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. She spent her last year in dental school
focusing on geriatric and special needs populations. In 1994 she opened her dental practice in Albuquerque, NM with the goal of meeting the general dental
needs of institutionalized, geriatric, disabled, and homebound patients in the Albuquerque area. She is currently Section Chair of the Fellow- American College
of Dentistry. Shelly participates in the Guatemala Faith in Practice working in remote areas in the country removing teeth in the Mayan population for a week
every year in conjunction with a medical team.
She is married to Ian Fritz, PhD., a retired physicist who worked at Sandia National Laboratories for 29 years. She has two children: Brynt is a
retired Army Colonel and is the father of two children. Alicia is a retired mechanical engineer and the mother of five children and three step children.
Shelly enjoys oil painting, playing bridge and growing orchids.
Renee Ennis, MBA/HCM

Rene has extensive financial, managerial, analytical, and decision-making skills in the healthcare industry, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue enhancements,
expense reductions, and business planning. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at TRICORE Reference Laboratories. Her background includes: Vice President &
Chief Financial Officer at Presbyterian Healthcare Services and Controller at Quest Diagnostics, Sonora Quest Laboratories, and Quest Diagnostics.
Renee received her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. Previously, she received a Bachelor's of
Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Mathematics from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI. Renee has also received
a Certificate of Business Ethics: Education and Organizational Best Practices from University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.

Dan Shapiro, MD, JD
Dan has extensive education and experience as a lawyer and a pediatric physician. His education and experience includes: Pediatric intern, University of Colorado, Post-doctoral fellow,
University of Colorado, Army officer and researcher, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Post-doctoral fellow, Dartmouth, Assistant Professor, Colorado State University, and since 1989, a
practicing attorney in Albuquerque - currently in private practice. He has been a member of the Lawyer Specialization Committee, UJI Civil Committee, Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee
as well as a mentor for new lawyers and was a monitor in one case for the Disciplinary Board. Dan is currently a member of the hearing committee for the Disciplinary Board.
Dan's education includes: a Bachelor of Science from MIT in 1963, a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard in 1967, and a Juris Doctor from University of New Mexico in 1977.
Dan's volunteerism includes: Governing Council and former President, Cesar Chavez Community School; Board member, and former President, Cornucopia Adult Day Services; Board member, Pegasus Legal
Services for Children; Pro bono Guardian Ad Litem for neglected/abused children in CYFD custody; Medical Review Commission Panel Hearing Member; Human Rights Committee - Casa Angelica; and Human

Thomas J. Fisher
Retired Information Management Systems
Tom is a retired Information Management Systems Analyst. Currently he is a Certificated Flight Instructor for hot air balloons and a docent at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Museum.
Tom served as a Programmer/Systems Analyst/Director of Telecommunication with the U.S. Public Health Service, Indian Health Service (HIS) for 35 years. In this position he supported the
electronic health care for the American Indian and Alaska Native people covering the entire United States. Tom states, "Privacy was our main goal and providing health care information for
the doctors/nurses that provide care to the Indian Population. All our guidelines-maintained compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). I became very
interested in what could be done to support the aging Indian population."
His experience with other community boards include: Board Member/President - Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association, Education Foundation (Local Hot Air Balloon Club); Board Member/Executive
Director - Albuquerque Speech Language Hearing Center; and Board member/President - Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International balloon museum.
Timothy S. Strongin, PhD, LVL Advisory Board Chair
Retired Air Force Colonel
Tim Strongin, PhD serves as President of the LVL Advisory Board. He is a Past President of the New Mexico Psychological Association, a Ruling Elder and member of the Sandia Presbyterian Church. Tim has also served as
a member of the Board of Samaritan Counseling Center, a member of the NM State Board of Psychologist Examiners and other not-for-profit organizations. Tim is a retired Air Force Colonel, having spent ten years on active
duty, 23 years in reserve components and seven years in civil service. He earned his PhD in Psychology from the University of New Mexico and is a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology and practiced in New Mexico
for 25 years. Tim has been married to his high school sweetheart, retired Special Education Teacher Barbara Cole Strongin for 47 years.
Retired Investment Professional

John Young is a 1960 graduate of the United States Military Academy. After military service in the Air Force, he spent 32 years in the investment world in a broad
range of investment activities. They included time in the institutional brokerage business, as a partner in a private investment counseling firm, and as Chief Investment
Officer for three public funds. The largest was the Teacher Retirement System of Texas which reached $50 billion in size and was the 15th largest pension fund in the world
during his tenure. The other public funds were the NM Educational Retirement Board and the NM State Investment Council. Earned Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1980.
Retired 12/31/99 in Santa Fe. He has served as a board member and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Museum of NM Foundation. He also served on the Investment Committee
of the Association of Graduates of the United States Military Academy and as advisor to the Investment Committee of the Buckaroo Ball. John was appointed to the State Investment
Council of NM by Governor Martinez in 2012, serving three years. Other retirement activities included serving as a board member of the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society
and as a director of mutual funds managed by Avalon Trust.
John represents The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho where he has lived with his wife Beverly since the opening. They have three adult daughters.

Four years in the US Air Force as a draftsman lead me to the University of New Mexico where I obtained a degree in mechanical engineering. I worked for LTV Aerospace in Dallas, Texas
for five years as a structural engineer. My key projects were the B1-B and B2 Bombers, Stealth fighters, and the C-17 Cargo plane. IBM hired me for marketing and technical engineering
support in New Mexico. I grew into positions of technical manager, marketing manager and regional manager. I was fortunate to attend an IBM business management program at Harvard Business
School and achieved the position of IBM's certified client executive for the DOE laboratories. Next, I became an associate partner in IBM's consulting business where I drove collaborative
teams on the USS Ford Aircraft Carrier and the USS Zumwalt Destroyer. My career focused on marketing; IBM management; supercomputing; engineering and manufacturing consulting; and product lifecycle solutions.
I have served on many different types of advisory boards: Riotech chairman of the board, technology transfer business; UNM Engineering Advisory Board chairman; Society of Manufacturing Engineering - All chapter
leadership positions and regional chairman; Grace Church member, elder board chairman; and Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group board of directors.

Marcia has practiced law for 21years. She has represented state, county, municipal governments, New Mexico Public School Districts, and numerous private businesses and corporations in employment law matters,
as well as in other areas of law. Marcia has litigated hundreds of employment matters, prepared personnel manuals, advised clients on liability issues, and conducted seminars on risk management, procedural due
process, and avoiding and surviving litigation.
